What fits in it?
See dumpsters, moving trucks, shipping containers and cubic yards in 3D next to a person, then fill them with sofas, boxes, mattresses or trash bags.
Drag to turn. The figure is a 5 ft 9 in person.
How it works
Pick a container or type any volume, then choose what to fill it with. Everything is drawn in real feet next to a 5 ft 9 in person, and the items are packed in at their real size, turned on their side when that fits better (refrigerators and washers stay upright). The count is how many fit when packed tightly, which is the best case; real loads leave gaps.
Why see it instead of reading a number
“20 cubic yards” means little until you see that a 20 yard dumpster is longer than a pickup truck and only waist high. Seeing a sofa or a stack of boxes inside the container makes it easy to tell whether a size is enough, before you rent it.
